On April 6, Newgard began demolition and site work for the 129-residence project at 2900 Riomar Street in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Beach’s emerging North Beach Village neighborhood and only one block from the beach. The Gale Residences is being built next to the former Escape Hotel, a historic building that is being completely rehabilitated and rebranded as Gale – a successful boutique hotel brand on South Beach.
Sales have been brisk since the launch of the Gale Residences in March 2015, when the sales center opened on Las Olas Boulevard. As of March 2016, the project is over 60 percent sold. It is attracting a mix of domestic and international buyers.
